Too many graphs in today's NHL for me. I'll just agree with you.

I'm actually surprised that those graduation rates at the bottom aren't lower. It's really freakin' hard to make it in pro sports.

Sheary will be playing many games in the NHL this season. Hopefully, he will do well on the LW for the Penguins. Does anyone know how Sheary does on the PK?

Didn't realize Erixon was such a solid contributor at the AHL level. Maybe he will become an NHL regular for the Pens. That would be hilarious if the best prospect in that trade ended up being him instead of Kapanen/Harrington/1st rounder.

Yeah Erixon is a funny one. Wasn't overly impressed with him during his brief stint with the Leafs. Seems to get passed around from team to team quite regularly as well.

It seems about right with what prospects are the most promissing to play fourth or third line with the big club: Sheary, Wilson and Rust.

Hopefully Erixon just needs some stability. He was extremely sheltered last year and definitely wasn't impressive. I'd bet he's better than Scuderi at least.

He's pretty bad. He has no offensive abilities. Defensive abilities are average.

Still prefer Erixon at his cap hit than Scuderi at his.

I wouldn't doubt it. But either way you don't want either in your lineup if you want a good defensive group.

Everyone said Chorney was terrible and he was effective with Pittburgh. Ian Cole was supposedly bottom-pairing caliber and he played excellent in the top 4. I don't know anything about Erixon, but if he is a capable PMD, he might be a surprisingly better fit with Johnston's system than with other teams. Most likely he is a body to be a throw-in but I'll reserve judgement until I see him play.

Yeeeesh. That's all I can say about him.

A complete bust. He was a part of many jokes over the past few years for us. Just another example why you pick skill over size in the draft.

Just don't get your hopes up. He was a waiver pick up last year for the leafs. In other words he had zero trade value. I thought he was going to be half decent but he's just an underwhelming Defensmen. The player you got is Kessel. The other two prospects are literally throw ins so the leafs could have more roster space. I think Biggs has negative value.

Yeah but to be fair Phil Kessel was also the butt end of a lot of jokes in toronto

Pens seemed to have made a big move and then just decided there isn't anything else to do. So we really have nothing else to talk about. Unless you'd like to debate the usefullness of Scuds and Sutter again? I always am entertained by those.

The big argument used to be trade Malkin up until the Kessel trade.

Yeah Sutter/Scuds has been beat to death already, so have many of the bold predictions, line combos and free agents that are left that could help us. Nothing else new really to talk about as ATM, we are done making any moves. At least we had something big to talk about when the Kessel trade went down.

Now if Ruth moves Sutter or Scuds this place will go nuts! Get to it Ruth

Any way the Pens can get Pulk from the Wings? I saw he still isn't signed yet.
