The biggest perk for Randy Cunneyworth in Rochester is that nobody will care that he can't speak French. |

He was a high energy tenacious guy who achieved through effort more than talent. Like a lot of coaches. |

Michael, good read as usual...I really enjoy your blogs.
As for Cunny in Roch., Murray is making good on his original statements when he was hired that developing the young players will be key to the Sabres success. Cunny will do just that...for guys like Bailey, Baptiste, etc, etc.
Last go around for him, he really partnered with Ruff and Darcy to play the system in Roch that the Sabres would play after the lockout...making it a much easier transition for the young guys to play in the N. Hopefully,he can find that same chemistry with Dancin Dan. |

There are some good names in there, a great looking old jersey, a bench battle and an unsuspecting haymaker or two as well. Glad you enjoyed it. |

Another solid write up bo0s. Was disapponted Cunney left before, very glad he's back. Blows Rolston out of the water, not to mention Cassidy. If it came down to him and Devine, I think it'd be a very tough choice. Best two coaches the minor Sabres had in a long time. Think I'd homer out and take Cunney though.. plus he was more successful than Devine. |

Down in the comments, a pretty good one:
Trottier's in his usual position, grabbing guys from behind. |
