I don't think the old system complimented Boucher's skill set very well so maybe we will see more of an upside than we had. I think the fact that he has not established himself as an NHLer is why he's not on the list of established NHLers.

I'm not excited about a guy who broke Stamkos record when he was a full year older than him and hasn't done much since, I hope I'm wrong, but I don't expect much from Boucher, I think Matteau has a much better chance of sticking at the NHL level.

I agree with what you said. We don't have a whole hell of a lot to get excited about at the moment so Boucher gets some by default I guess.

JJ is a 20-30 point player who's good on the PK and a weapon in the shootout. That's it, that's all.

At worst I think Boucher will turn into a Ryder/Boyes type of guy. He has one hell of a shot and that will definitely take him somewhere

Gelinas offensive weapon is his shot and he needs room to get it off; therefore, he will not be a great winger either.

JJ's moves in the shootout always impress me, so I hope he can finally start doing stuff like that with more minutes. Like you said I don't think he'll be an offensive power house but if he could contribute pretty regularly that'd be awesome.
