Yep, has to be the biggest question mark.

We lost Stanton, Clendening and Bieksa (Sanguinetti too). Corrado will be more of a regular and Bartkowski is new.

Will Hamhuis have a better season if he can stay healthy? Contract year for him too.

Would love to see a trade that brings us back a young up and coming dman.

That was a funny trade. Makes me wonder if Clendening was scouted by JB (in Jr. or AHL) or if JB was going off reputation when he was acquired?

Time will tell. I hope for JB's sake, Sutter doesn't fall on his face. Rolling with whatever outcome, what can I do? They won't take my calls anymore at the front office.

We will see as the season plays out, if indeed correct, then they should get a gig in the front office...or at least a month of "told you so", without repercussions.

Sbisa is a great signing by Benning, one of his best, although he gets stiff competition from vrabata and miller.
Big, mean, wheels, these attributes are almost impossible to find in a6/7 defenceman. If he plays with Tanev, who incidentally had none of those traits, who oozes hockey sense they will compliment each other and dorm the nucleus of our middle pairing.

Tanev = smart player who makes the right play day in day out
Sbisa = big player who is fast.

Put them together and you have Shae Weber at half the cost.
