No, he said to read into the lines. A very good chance that trio sticks. I don't like Purcell, he's very soft, but he is a veteran and has experience playing with talent. |

I wouldn't mind giving Drai a few games with ebs and nuge, while giving yak a couple games with hall and Mcdavid.
It's training camp so it wouldn't be bad to see maybe two games with that combination. Now is probably the chance to try these things out |

McLellan has said on multiple occasions that he is more of a believer in pairs as opposed to trios. Wouldn't be surprising to see those types of lines throughout training camp and the season. |

Interesting comment yesterday by Petry talking about how close the Players are on the Habs, not like other teams he's been on with their different cliques, an obvious reference to the Oilers. That will be part of the challenge for the coaches to bring these guys together. |

He's been telegraphing the pairings of Hall- McDavid and Leon- Lander. I think it's safe to assume another pair would be Nuge- Eberle which leaves Purcell, Pouliot, Yakupov, and Korpikoski to fill in the blanks. Curious to see which one falls out of the top-9.

I only saw the one tweet about positioning along the wall, but I think it's going to do wonders for Yak to have a coach who knows what's going on in the offensive zone. McLellan will do everything and more that Roy was trying to do with him, I think. The guy's ability is so obvious, he just needs to put it together. |
