Been waiting for Virt to get a shot with the sedins, I think it could be a great fit if he goes shoot first, this is the first game I've been excited for this preseason as it's got everyone I want to see.

I am not sure if the Sedins like a shoot first winger, don't think they liked Vrbata shooting too soon when they often want to run a set play for a better look.

It is not easy playing with the twins.

I like it, give Vey a chance with some offensive talent.
Also interesting that Cracknell is getting multiple looks at that 4C role.....

This might be the most exciting forward group we have seen so far this preseason.

I would love to see Virtanen succeed with the twins, I have doubts but it would certainly allow some scoring depth to be more evenly distributed.

You probably were saying something similar about Gaunce last year..... if he doesn't earn a contract extension playing with Utica this year, fine but wishing decent if not amazing prospects leave the system is ridiculous.

Well, it should be a big game for Baertschi too. Wondering who will go to the dirty areas for that line? Vrbata is usually okay, but preseason, I'd think he wants to take less bumps than a regular season game.

I hope they find some chemistry and can control the play.

Despite Nuckers sarcasm - Vey is a skilled player, and he's only just turned 24 years old. It'll be nice to see him with some players that can produce offensively.

I'm serious. He produced with the Sedins last year and then sucked when he was playing with grinders. He should do fine with skill guys.
