Lehner looks like Darre Puppa II but either out of shape, struck sit bad luck or some guys just get injured all the time. Tonight's injury looks to me like conditioning but I'm no expert. Every time they took a shot on Lehner tonight you held your breath like I did.

Problem now is where do we get a solid G, get crazy and trade for Jimmy Howard.....? GMTM just learned a tough lesson listening to his heart, burning a 1st for Lehner, and now gets burned by being too liberal and on tilt draft day weekend. Worst case, Lehner comes back from injury and rides the pine where most 1st round picks would be, sitting behind a better G. I don't want Kari Ramo, maybe Hiller, but get somebody good.

Lehner compared himself to tyrod earlier in the week, the question mark of the team. He would have been more accurate if he compared himself to Jordan gay or dan carpenter.

Well thanks for your trollish observation . They did come around in the third and won the shots on goal . No delusions of grandeur here in Buffalo. It is the youngest team in the league. Chemistry is going to take time. We are just happy the rebuild is moving forward.

He lost the Lehner trade. He probably lost the Winnipeg trade as Bogosian is made of glass. And we paid too much in prospects and the contract for O'Reilly who projects as no better than a 60 pt player.

Darcy had 16 chances in Buffalo. If this season goes down in flames, I hope Murray is held accountable.

Wow , glad you have such a good crystal ball . Now relax. Chemistry takes time . It is the youngest team in the league. GMTM helped build that Ottawa team that beat us . Proper rebuilds take time.

yup they tacked on a pile of shots when ottawa sat back with a 2 goal lead with 10 mins left. not trying to troll the fanbase,. when you have a troll blogger than constantly trolls an entire fanbase (even in the preseason) this can be expected

I will enjoy the season, because the leafs will draft another top 5 pick and get him into the lineup in the next couple of the years, along with nylander,marner,brown,percy, dermott, bracco etc...

Your Trolling is right up there with Garth's . I have watched you in other Teams forums besides the Leafs . You must be so proud. The Sens were not just sitting back . This young team started overcoming the jitters. I like our future with this group . No big predictions. The Chemistry will come with time. I would be happy if they hit 80 points this year .

I thought last night was a solid game for the the Sabres. Eichel played a strong game. Obviously, he did not show any of the breath taking moves we saw from McDavid in the St. Louis game, but he did score and played very responsibly in all areas of the game. He is a very strong talent.

Kane is a great acquisition and he played a very strong game.

The Sabres are going to score goals and be a fun team to follow this year. But, they are going to allow too many goals against and Murray needs to do something to upgrade the back end.

Never did understand Lehner trade, have always wondered if he really is an NHL goalie. Reminds me too much of Ray Emery. Too emotional and always on the injured list. He has great athletic skills (if he is in shape) but let's in too many early goals. He will make several spectacular saves and then let in a soft one. Very frustrating along with the injury repetition.

You are in denial . I know what I have read and really have more going on in my life to search the archives for all your trollish comments in threads and re-post them. You are Garth"s biggest fan . You realize he lives for people like you trolling him. It is the only way he gets comments.
