The Blues are looking to impose a more aggressive system than previous seasons focusing on their blue liners looking to choke point the opponents at the blue line.
This was VERY noticeable in the Blues home opener. It should be interesting how long Hitch stays with this.
One of the better blogs I've ever read of yours Tony! Agree pretty much with everything you wrote. I've never been the biggest Koivu fan and have been calling for him to take on a lesser role, but with his supposedly good camp and coming in ten pounds lighter I thought maybe he'd have a little jump in his step... then the game happened. He was at times brutal to watch. Here's hoping Graovac's injuiry isn't serious and by December he's bumped Koivu into a shutdown role, which is all he's good for at this point.

Nice Write up! A refreshing change from other bloggers "it's still early! But the team looks great" story line. I like the fact that your team is 2-0 and your still not afraid to point out the weaknesses you see.
