Thanks for the perspective. It seems to my eye, so far this season, that they've washed out many more icings than in the past few years, especially compared with last year.
Last year it was pretty black and white, unless the D player touched it, it was icing. This year they've gone back to using some discretion in seeing if the D is trying to get it, or using 'alligator arms', skating slowly, turning the wrong way, etc.
I prefer the way it's being called this season. Was just wondering if you've noticed, and if this would be an example as described in this blog.
