I pvr the game and didn't see the last minute of the game. I didn't read any activity on the old blog as the game was going on but man was that boring hockey.

The elbow penalty was clear as day, I don't think it warrants any league discipline though. Simple minor, nothing else to see here.

It was clear he didn't use his elbow but rather his shoulder to the guys head, if anything it should've been a penalty for direct contact to the head.

Thought his arm was at his side during the hit and then his elbow came up after when he went to play the puck.

I can understand the penalty called for a hit to the head, but don't really see it as an elbow.

He hit him with a body check. Arms tucked in... they maybe could of called a head hit but the player was leaning down... unavoidable.

Clearly the elbow comes up after the hit. Whats so fkn hard to see there...

Only thing else to see is that there should have been an embellishment call as well. He sold it well.

Whichever team is winning because they've obviously made some good decisions, drafted well and have the best GM

Horrible game. Pretty sad to see two of our 'core' guys cost us the game too. Burrows and Dank should be pulled into the quiet room for awhile. And as much as Miller whined about the backchecking that wrist shot can't go in. Sure Hutton was caught on the screen a bit but make a positional save. Honestly for as good as Miller has started and the accolades he gets I'm starting to wonder if he really is just another version of Lou. Where he has stints of brilliance but lets in 1-2 weak ones per game and finds a way to lay blame...but still manages to put up wins. I know we get what we get with Miller but that was a frustrating effort to watch. Again stumped by a 6th round backup goalie and we couldn't even squeak out the loser point. If we get a top 10 pick out of this year all is good but if we are going to continue to piss away efforts like that gonna be tough to watch.

I think what you are saying here is true for many of the top goalies. So many factors involved, and a little puck luck along the way.

We are a fringe playoff team, it is going to be tight all season. Waiting for JB to make a move, one way or the other.

I hear you. Just frustrated by the lack of finish today.

Tough to say what JB is going to do or when he will pull the trigger on something. He's got to be careful with what he has to work with.
