Wilson centering the second line tonight. My guess is for CBJ to see how he does at center. |

Can someone who lives in Nashville find Rinne and spit on his shoes for me?
I've never been so (frank)ing infuriated by just 1 player in fantasy hockey. |

Drafting Rinne hasn't been a smart move for like 3 years now... |

Jet fan disclaimer...... Big win for us last night in Smashville but as an outsider our win highlights what is wrong with your team.
Weber, Jossi, or Jones has to be moved for a top level #1 C, the depth that Nashville has on the backend is close to if not best in the league.
You couldn't package all of your forwards for a #1 C but from you depth on D you could balance the team out |

Poile says he will not trade Seth Jones. I like Jones, and think he could pair well with Josi in the post-Weber era. But I think Poile has to consider parting with either Weber or Jones to acquire the pieces necessary to fix this roster. The glaring absence of a true #1 Center shows itself more every night.
I just don't think you're going to get your hands on Ryan Johansen, or even RNH or Drasaitl from Edmonton, unless Jones or Weber are part of the deal. Weber would still bring a monster return, and there might be a case where you could trade Weber & a 4th liner, and get back 2 top line forwards plus a prospect or two. Jones would be a hard bargain for any of those top centers, straight up, but you wouldn't have to package much with him to make a deal work...at least I don't think you would.
Lots of Preds fans are quick to hope that Ellis or Eckholm would move someone's needle, but I think it has to be one of the big boys. I would hate to see them go. But I hate watching this feckless offense even more on a nightly basis. It's brutal right now. Half of their games this year, they have scored 2 goals or less. There's no way to find a positive in that stat. |

From Feb 19th on:
7-10-4
.901
2.66 GAA
Not Terrible, but I would call that average.
He was a Vezina finalist because his numbers pre injury were dynamite. |

Jones for Johansen straight up is a really good deal for the Preds imho. The 25 or so games of Jones I have watched sure suggest a ceiling of a #3 d-man though 25 is a pretty small sample.

Well in that case what's being billed as a potential #1 dman for a #1 centerman is more like a #3 dman for a #3 centerman based on perceptions. |
