Once again over value our guys. I like ennis but he is hurt and having a down year. Tough customer Mike weber is dime a dozen worth maybe a fourth round pick. McGinn only true value possible 2nd rounder. It's getting old u trying to rob each team with our bums

This all seems perfectly reasonable.

Holy poop, I live and breathe blue and gold but holy schnikees are these proposals ludicrous. I wouldn't give you a chewed piece of gum and a pair of dirty jock straps for Weber and Garth thinks we're going to get some of the players he listed? Holy mamajama, totally embarrassing

Not all of them are.

The Arizona, Dallas and Columbus deals are all within margin.

Arizona is deep at LW and will want to make a push for the playoffs. Ennis would easily slot into their top 6.

Dallas will always need D. Mike Weber isn't much then again Elie isn't much either.

Columbus is in rebuild mode. But I don't see why the Sabres would trade for Jack Johnson. With all his off ice issues I think he'd be a horrible addition. Rychel would be the main guy in that trade for the Sabres. Columbus has also lost scoring in that Johansen/Jones deal so to bring in versatile winger/center like Ennis would be a good fit for the JAckets. It will also clear cap space for the Jackets.

The appetite for small forwards, with 5M cap hits who aren't getting playing time with last place teams is very small in the salary cap era. You may be able to trade Ennis if you take back an equally bad contract in return.

Ennis and Franson for Fowler and Silverfberg is about the only trade I can see making sense with the Ducks... about even money and productivity (points per game) is pretty close between the two pairs.

Weber for that Dallas prospect (Remi Elie) isn't crazy... most of his points (20 of his 24 points in playoffs) simply came from passing the biscuit over to McDavid. Otherwise, he hasn't been the type of prospect whom Dallas would miss greatly.

Perlini has underperformed this year, so the Coyotes may be willing to part with him. They do have quite a bit of depth in their system, so he wouldn't be sorely missed either. He does have the tools that would appeal to Murray and is worth taking a chance on for sure. Regier may want Larsson and/or Weber for the stretch run.

We all know that we can throw trade ideas around until we're blue in the face and it won't be what happens... not saying the Sabres won't move certain guys and/or obtain certain guys, but the chances of predicting the exact exchange are like playing the lotto from a fan's perspective. There are trades all the time that simply do not make much sense to fans (good and bad). It simply comes down to what a GM is willing to pay to acquire someone... let's not forget the Predators dumped Martin Erat on the Capitals for Filip Forsberg. That same GM who robbed the Caps of Forsberg is the guy who gave up a 1st round pick for Paul Gaustad.

I, for one, would love to see the Sabres acquire Kerby Rychel from the Blue Jackets. Maybe they would be interested in uniting the Foligno brothers. Marcus' game is so up and down, the Sabres can afford to move him for someone with more scoring potential. I couldn't believe how Foligno just left Zetterberg all alone and didn't even move as he just stood there watching Larkin like he was a fan in the front row. He completely stopped skating and stood watching. Embarrassing.

Why not a Cam Fowler, Nick Ritchie trade to Buffalo in exchange for Tyler Ennis, and Nick Baptiste?

So Ennis, who has never even hit 50 pts, is worth a young top 4 dman, AND a guy that was a top 10 pick? oh you threw in a rookie who has 15 pts in the AHL. I guess it equals out then!

seriously though, every single proposal is lopsided in Buffalos favor. Many just dont make sense to the other team (Ennis for Perlini/Dvorak).

If you're offering up Mike Weber and Tyler Ennis, why limit your sights on just Jake Muzzin? Why not have the Kings throw in Drew Doughty, Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli as well?

Make it Mike Weber, Tyler Ennis, Josh Gorges and Matt Moulson for Drew Doughty, Jake Muzzin, Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli. That's a solid need for need trade. The Kings get some cap space and the Sabres help them while giving them some veteran blue line depth and secondary scoring to boot. Win win.

Being injured makes it relatively difficult to get playing time...

If your gonna criticize a player at least do your research. Ennis not getting playing time with a last place team? Lol... He's actually been injured not been fighting for minutes as you state. There's always a market for young 20+ goal scorers. $5 mill cap hit? Cap hit is less than $5 mill and his salary goes down to $3.65 million for the next 3 seasons which is a steal.

Why don't the Sabres trade Matt Moulson and a 6th rounder for Jamie Benn? Makes as much sense as every trade Garth proposed

Conditional 6th. If the Sabres win the cup it becomes a 5th rounder.
