I agree about Elliott. Maybe I the off-season. Very doubtful before the deadline.
Yes, add some offense please. What has been their biggest weakness in their1st round losses? Offense.
Keep up the good work. |

Boedker is one of the few rentals I wouldn't mind them bringing in. |

I think you go for Boedker if you know Steener wont be ready until the playoffs
By the time Steen is back who knows what this team will look like |

The officiating continues to deteriorate in this sport. Wings were hosed last night. It was obvious Mrazek was going to keep the play alive. And Totorella is right about the coach's challenges. They're often a waste. |

Am I wrong but I do not remember the blues using one this year
If they have it has been very rare. teams use them on the blues all the time |

Hitch used one knowing he was going to lose once because he said he wanted to call a timeout and losing the challenge gave him a longer timeout. Not sure about any other times. |

Funny you should say that but my gut has been telling me that for a couple of days now...nothing other than a hunch. - Jason Millen
What would it take? Armstrong said dollar in dollar out
So if they get Boedker they need to send money some place
He said you cant count on guys being on LTIR until the playoffs |

I would imagine the Ott injury has some flexibility in when he is really cleared. I wonder how much they can tell in regards to how far along he is.
If you move say Upshall or Brodziak and Ott is on LTIR, it works. No way they would move Ott, right? |

I don't think they would move Ott. He is overpaid to be on the 4th line, yes. But the team loves him and he only gets better when the playoffs start. Blues need more of those guys, so getting rid of him doesn't make sense to me. |

So would you trade for Ilya K and what would you give up? Would seem to be a super rental, no? |

Not super as in great for the blues but super in like the Superman rental - not many times you have a player of his stats as a potential rental. |

I feel you and if he wanted to come to STL DA would be an idiot not to entertain the idea. Me Personally want nothing to do with guys that walk out on their teams/ |

I don't know how the NHL gets around this "retirement" issue with him coming back to the NHL. It would seem to me that there would have to be some punishment for the Devils for circumventing the CBA...

Something like all 30 teams must allow him back in order for him to be a FA
