What about Baptiste? He was a beast in Junior. Clearly, Bailey's passed him in the system. Are they too much alike? If so can Baptiste be a throw in chip to get us a "playa". I wish MSG would show some Amerks games.
d'amigo was on a line with catenacci and baptiste and they were the best line for the amerks that night--flying all over the ice applying constant pressure...
as for the other two?...let's just say the defense needs a lot of work

hello michael
I can't remember the last time I saw a game w/o a penalty
one thing for sure, the sabres are playing much better 5 on 5 lately - homiedclown
There have been 3 games without a penalty called in the NHL this year and the Sabres were apart of 2 of the three. Last night and a game in November against the Islanders

he was good, yuri...kinda rode the coattails of catenacci and d'amigo...baptiste was effective, but not the difference-maker the other two were...he's got all the tools, but unlike bailey, will need at least another year seasoning

He's a sniper for sure. Maybe he just needs a center to get him some pucks. Some guys can't do enough to their own shots without help, unfortunately. I was hoping he would pan out. We could use a sniper a la Donald Audette back in the day.

dude has an awesome shot whether slapper or wrister...saw it in Erie with the otters...the difference is finding open ice...it's a much faster and much tighter game at this level...I wouldn't bail on him

Our team NEEDS a winger who can SCORE! I thought (and still do to a point) that Kane would be that guy. He looks more of a Tasmanian devil, 25-30 goal scoring wrecking ball. We really need a shooter. Stamkos would be nice if he would give up the dot to be set up by ROR or Jack. I wouldn't want him as a center.
