I think Corsi should get a little more air time than it does, but I don't think a show like HNIC would be the proper platform as it is for a very wide audience, most of whom would just tune it out.
But, a weekly show on TSN or Sportsnet that talked about advanced stats and how they are changing the game, used in influencing decisions on trades/lineups, and scouting in general would be a really great introduction to the masses.

I know I would watch it. - DuranDuran
I agree in part, but they could at least stop using plus/minus and reputation as the basis for their analysis. Like, I'm pretty sure that no one on any of the major hockey broadcasts realizes that T.J Brodie is better than Shea Weber and has been for some time.
They don't need to go overboard with it, but they definitely need to at least move away from shots and into shots attempts.
"The more I read about and learn about statistical analysis, the more irrelevant it is to listen to some ex-jock talk about character, leadership and plus/minus."
Just because you can't quantify character and leadership in some statistic to back your completely "subjective" view, doesn't mean they don't exist or have an impact. That "ex-jock" knows more about the game, than you could ever learn/understand about it, simply from sitting on the sidelines reading spreadsheets.
