82 game regular season and looks like Eichel will play in 81 of them not 71, but what's 10 games anyway.

Subban plays for the Canadians...not the Oilers as you grammatically wrote. But what's the English language?!

Call me a homer, but I give it to Ghost because he has CLEARLY had the most impact on his team out of all the players mentioned.

"Were it not for Panarin being 24 years old and riding shotgun for PST Kane in Chitown, he'd be the man. He's not. Panarin played pro hockey in the KHL before he landed in Chicago's lap as a gift wrapped package. Panarin is a sand bagger in the Calder race. There, I said it. Disqualified."

None of this has any bearing on the Calder. It's not "the best 18 year old rookie" or "the best player to never have played professional hockey." It's for the player who has the best rookie NHL season.

Personally, I think McDavid wins it, with Panarin and Gostisbehere runners-up. Eichel and Larkin would be my 4/5, but I think Eichel will be a better player than Panarin when all is said and done 15 years from now.

You haven't played a full season due to injury, therefore, you don't qualify for my Calder Award.

I didn't realize that you had your own trophy to award...?

Here's a rough view as to what I imagine it to look similar to...

Well, who can say that RoR has taught him nothing...???

Not playing at least half The season should DQ anyone from the Calder trophy. Panarin, Ghost, Eichel. Respectfully

McDavid has played 43. That's more than "at least half the season".

You're welcome

"Ghost" is very intriguing to me as he has played just 60 games, however, has amassed, 16 goals and 27 assists. I like his game a lot. He's been a breath of fresh air for Philly. I need to see more of him.

ok, glad you need to see more of him, he was concerned about your opinion

Eichel Has been everything we could have possibly hoped for and more. In saying that, Ghost has carried his team to the playoffs and deserves it. McDavid's point per game is impressive but would he have hit a rookie wall if he played a full season and Edmonton is still beyond bad, even with him.

No Sabres fan on this board wants our logo next to this guys name.
I wish his "corner" was a lot farther away….Like on a curling website.
