I do not know the purpose of the headline. Chris Drury was a decent NHL player, averaging 20 goals a year over his 12 year career. Since he retired in 2011, he has not had any pro coaching or managing gigs. Why is his hire such a "wise" choice by team USA? Because he was a decent NHL player? What will his position be? Coach? GM? Trainer? Stick boy?
I wonder why Garth is so quiet on the Amerks being eliminated from any chance of the AHL playoffs AGAIN? Wasn't he talking about a run to the playoffs and the Amerks taking a deep run only a few weeks ago?
