80% chance we draft 8th or 9th and we drafted Risto 8th. Even though Risto took a year to make it to BUF, this would be pretty acceptable. I think the top 3 Dmen all rate similarly to Risto in his draft year. Regier did a lot wrong, Risto was not one of them

Props to this team for playing hard in the second half even though their shot at the playoffs was as good as dead. Hopefully this carries through into next season.

Eichel comes across as an absolute (frank)ing bumhole though, so hopefully whoever we get isn't the same.
