Nash will be a Sabre 65% (I like Krieder)
Karlsson - 20% (GMTM - never know)
Stamkos - 50/50
Yakapov - 5-10% (for Foligno)
St. Louis players (if they have another ugly playoff run, they will start moving players like - Steen & Backes) |

Hmmm Signing Stamkos.. When was the last time you looked at the NHL top scoring leaders and seen a Sabre player there ?
(besides the non voted rookie named Jack) |

Carrying over from last blog:
When it comes to attracting big name free agents having a team that is winning or ready to win comes first.
The Patriots cut big time key players all the time yet they still get players wanting to play for them...why?? Cause they win.
Forcing Moulson out the door if it comes to that will all be production based if he has another year like this one he's gone via expansion or trade. |

Soupy and Ladd would each be good fits for you guys. Lot of character with each one plus the championship pedigree.
It's highly unlikely Bowman can move dollars (especially with Panarin getting both bonuses & the 'Hawks so close to the cap) to make Ladd fit so perhaps he'd be open to trading Ladd's rights for those several days before 7/1.
Soupy will be had for a lot less than the $7.1M AAV Uncle Dale handed him July, 2008. Pair him with a solid stay at home guy like Hammer and you may get three good years from him. |

Hanging on to Moulson until the expansion draft would be pretty smart.
Almost makes me wish we still had Leino or Hodgson!

The only player I care about in these playoffs is Jamie Mcginn, and I only care about him for the first two rounds. |

Believe backes is a ufa regardless. My guess is goligoski as a ufa, and then one of vesey/caggiula. I dont think murray would let yakupov wash his car. Stamkos will be tough, 26 year old stars dont hit ufa- usually the team makes a deal with the devil where they are paying primo dollars for a fading stars golden years. Too many teams in on him, toronto and detroit are my guess. Karlsson and hall are pipe dreams. We would have to win the oilers lottery to have anything worth moving, and at that point id rather keep matthews.

This crap about trying to get Yakupov needs to stop, he's surrounded by talent and he still stinks, we don't need problem players. |

Murray has several options as he owns the most talented pool of prospect talent in the history of bipedal man, according to my sources at TSN.
Chicago has had enough with P Kane's inability to add height to his game, and is secretly, aggressively shopping him to Buffalo, looking for O'Reilly in return. I really like the way #19 finished the season and would hate to see him moved at this point. The sky's no limit for him.
Rumors of a Eichel and Reinhart for Getzlaf and Perry trade are not rumors at all. That deal is presently on the table. The only sticking point is Anaheim is looking for rights to host the 2018 Winter Classic in the deal. But Uncle Terry won't even consider it. Is he crazy?
Look for Robert Lehner to be moved at the draft. He has refused to be the back-up next season, as a former Sabre leaves the Czech Republic to make one last run at a Stanley Cup. This is the real reason Ted Nolan was not brought back!!! The facts are undeniable on this one. - RicoMartin
Hmm. Interesting.
I'll take Chris Kreider all day long. Nice write up boos |
