Every time I've seen Martin at a scrimmage he really impressed me. I wonder why he does not seem to be thought of as a real prospect. - Slump Buster
he was nearly a point/game player before getting traded to Everett, but then he assumed a different role for the silvertips...has nice size at 6'2" 200lbs...skates well and can move the puck...don't see why anyone would think he's not a real prospect
Yeah but we have a lot of guys that are in Jrs, College, Europe etc. I've said a few times that the NHL should make it so the AHL is your main development team, then ECHL. To hell with the junior teams.

Steve Miller blowing up the RRHOF has been my favorite non hockey or world affairs story of the year. 10 grand just to bring his band?
I have a friend that has the same guitar he plays in the video (no quotes) ...72 Les Paul Custom. Best sounding axe I have ever played, but the story how he got it is even better; Nils Lofgren and him were pals in college and Nils owed my friend a sizeable amount of money...
Nils magically made the guitar disappear out the back door of the music store he was working at as payment. A few years later the guy is playing with Neil Young and the Boss.

I give mega props for what Steve Miller did last week.
billy powell from skynard was telling me the exact same stories when they got inducted. He was pissed he had to pay 20 grand for his 2 kids to attend
