He has a low cap hit of 3.325 and his low salary 2.65 could help a team in search of the cap floor.

On a good team he could be a bottom pairing guy and play 1st unit pp mins.


He has value the question becomes does he have value to be on this team?

Still under contract. I don't see him leaving unless we dump him somehow in a trade. Will probably be the #7 or 8 D-man going into next season.

He will most likely enjoy the press box with Moulson.

No he is done after this season. I think the contract was good for us and good for him.

Only Stammer knows where he's going at this point but I'm not gonna set my self up for disappointment. If anything be happily surprised if he decides Buffalo is the right place for him. Curious to see what Murray's next move is once Stammer signs somewhere other then here

Honestly would love to have him, but at the same time, i like having the "homegrown" kids. Either way i think we are set up for success. Not getting my hopes up, and also not giving up on the idea of him coming here.
