Garth is not a sabres blogger. His entire purpose is to be a horrible writer, say ridiculously stupid poop and create web traffic.
If we all stopped reading his garbage maybe Ek would move him off his prime real estate spot.
I mean seriously, no rational human being who has the ability to eat, drink and sleep(survive) such as Garth can honestly believe in the ridiculously dumb poop he says.
He's a WWF bad guy. He's Jerry Lawler. That's it and nothing more. |

You have zero idea what you're talking about.
Because you have depth at one position, you should never sign a player who plays that position (and at an entry level deal)? Give your head a shake. |

Hey Garth, Check this out...
Matthews finished first in league scoring with 116 points (55 goals, 61 assists), breaking the National Team Development Program record of 102, set by Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane in 2005–06 and besting Buffalo Sabres' Jack Eichel by 29 points.

Because assets like Eberle and Yakupov won't need to be replaced in said deals for established defensemen? Whine a little more about not winning something. |

Adding another prospect at no cost is a no brainer. It adds depth on the farm and gives you more options should he pan out and become an NHL player. The Oilers will be spending more money on an improved D and will have to shed salary down the road when Draisaitl and McDavid get paid. |

In those 7 games Eichel was sure to collet 29 points. But those stats are from a few years ago so they currently don't mean much.
It's only worth pointing out on a Garth blog because he's such a goof. |

Chiarelli knows his defense is paper thin. So, why glom on to yet another small, skilled forward in Caggiula? That's like carrying four drivers in your golf bag with no pitching wedge, no sand wedge and no putter. - Garf
I had no idea what the blogger's point was until he came up with this clever simile.
Now I understand what he is trying to say. I just think it is stupid.

the oilers done goofed signing a relatively big named college free agent? how dare they bolster their organizational depth! tell me the oilers top forward prospects at the moment. Tell me what will happen to guys like Eberle and one of the other top Fs when McDavid gets 10+M in his 2nd contract. You need cheaper contracts from guys potentially like Caggiula?!
they should have signed a guy like Doughty instead |
