great point...I felt the same way and believe that they do like putting young players in competitive international situations

Lehner: A risky move that hasn't payed off. I predict that Lehner will frustrate Sabres fans throughout his career here and will never reach his potential. What will be more frustrating is watching Colin White grow and develop into a fantastic player for Ottawa

You can't blame the injury on Lehner being lazy or Murray not having a crystal ball and seeing it coming.
So, this is a "we'll just have to wait and see" situation.
If he played the full season up to his potential, no one would care about the 21st overall pick. I do think Legwand was a favor because we had cap space to burn. A 21st overall alone should have done it.
