Nice write up Jason. Completely agree about their passing. Looked like one of my adult league games.

I would prefer the speed of Magnus tonight over Ott or Reaves. Here's hoping for a better effort.

I consider myself Blues Half full, but they did put us away Tuesday. No way to word that softly.

I did not see Game 1, but frankly I didn't think the Sharks really brought it in Game 2, they looked tentative, cautious. Fortunately the Blues were not sharp.

Sharks played much better (mostly) against Nashville. If they get back to that level then the Blues are really going to have to pick it up or it is not going to be close.

Jammer I was reffering to the NHL network heaping praise on the Sharks after game one.

I have said the Sharks have played well. I also have said the Blues have played terrible except for one period one game and maybe a few minutes in the second game.

I have been most impressed with Braun's defense.

Not impressed by Jones. He has made one good save and held good position but my God there are so many holes and it really does not matter because the team in front of him has defended so well.

The Sharks forecheck is an overload on one side and good positioning in some passing lanes to the short side. I have not been a fan of the Blues breakout for a long time and it is because of its gaps and dependence on using the center of the ice to beat overloads but Sharks let a guy defend that by acting like a free safety and aggressively coming in to intercept the pass.

The Sharks pp reminds of the old Blues in the early 2000s with Demitra.

The Sharks did better on the pk but I still thought while they did a better job that there were a lot of errors in decision making especially on to go hard to the puck or when Backes was making passes. Got to stop putting passes in the skates.

If the Blues look bad again, even if they look like there is not much of an effort again I will say it is due to how the Sharks are playing comepletely. But seeing how the Blues played the one period and kept things more simple I am going with they are playing bad while the Sharks continue to play with the passion these level of games deserve. Obviously they were one of the better teams.

There was a play in one of the games that he looked shook up on after it. I think it was a hit. But then he came back out.

I made the beer league comment a few times during the game. It was driving me nuts and making me angry if I am being honest.

I miss the constant sell outs the Sharks used to have. All the playoff games I have been to this season have been a great atmosphere.

I'd have thought 17k in SJ wouldn't be that hard of a sell.

11 of 12 playoff seasons; 4 conference finals in that span, etc

Just my opinion but the Blues look tired will be interesting to so what their energy is for game three
