I think Eriksson is the guy to target but Ladd on a line with Bo and Sven could be interesting.

Ladd on a 1-2 year (cheap) deal would be ok if we can't get Eriksson, Lucic or Brouwer. But got look at those 3 first.

Cheap would be great, but i'd think the only way we could get him cheap and short term is if waits to sign and clubs end up spending and he is left without a chair when the music stops... and even then, I'd expect a club with better playoff chances to have a better chance of signing him if he were to take a pay cut.

I look at Burrows and wonder if a team like the Yotes would be interested in him with the salary savings vs cap hit and the Canucks ate a little salary?

I wonder if Stamkos will pull a Hossa and sign a 1 or 2 year contract with a contender if he can't find a longer term fit?

oh the possibilities are endless.

They desperately need scoring. I'd like to see Loui or Okoposso. One top 6 forward is sufficient and save any additional cap space for the deadline. I think we would have a shot at the playoffs with one high level UFA

Useless is a bit harsh, hes a specialist at worst. He was 4th in team scoring, despite being 5th in icetime per game and can QB a powerplay

Instead of costing the team a $1.5 million cap hit next year if he's bought out, it's actually $2.5 million because of his back-diving contract, but only $1 million in 2017-18. Good to know!

Because he made wimpy players like Krug and Krejci stand about 4 feet taller when he played with them. Mix in the fact that he can play top line, with an edge, and put up points, he definitely has qualities that are appealing to every team. If the price is right, I would embrace having Lucic.
