that looked actually pretty harmless, thought he did something actually more physically aggressive, although im sure it hurt worse than it ended up looking.

Laine just kept playing after Perry hit him. No BS. Very commendable for a young kid who apparently has a temper. - TheMussel
the hit was a nothing hit.. its not like Perry put him on his ass..
I'm just not sure Maurice and Laine will get along.. Im not saying he doesn't deserve to go second, but if he does have an attitude problem he'll hate Maurice.

I think that's probably the one area where he has to do the most work, the mental part of the game and patience, if he wants to be successful sooner than later.

That's why I think Winnipeg might go for Puljujarvi at 2 (or trade down #3) - they don't want another E Kane situation.
In addition, I still think Puljujarvi will pan out at least as good as Laine.

Now that being said, there's really nothing to indicate from the last year or so that he maintains any kind of attitude problems. This is speculation based on an incident from when he was 15 years old and there have been no media interactions or anything on the ice that might suggest that he hasn't remedied his attitude. People make assumptions because he's a goal scorer first.

he was talking himself up / talking Puljujarvi down as well when asked who's the better player. same when being asked about matthews (vs himself)
he comes across as arrogant.
but who knows, difficult to tell from interviews how a player is.. he might be the perfect team-mate and professional.

I could see Buffalo or Detroit throwing a ton of money at Stamkos.
Either city is still pretty close proximity to home for him.
Buffalo also looks to have a bright future... it honestly would not be too much of a shock to see him sign there. - Aetherial
Tbay
Toronto
Detroit
Buffalo
All are possible, but I just have this feeling that if Stamkos is leaving Tbay - he's going to come to Toronto, simply because he wants to play here in Toronto, in the big show under the spotlight.
