This is not the last two GM's. Hextall has for all intensive purposes a plan in place and appears to be following it....now, that could all change if he pulls of something "big"....but considering the events of yesterday, big is a relative term.

How does it make sense for Tampa to trade Bishop to Dallas and get one of their two goalies in return? The reason to trade Bishop is to clear up cap space for Kucherov and Hedman as well as to not lose him in the expansion draft for free. You get one of the two Dallas goalies back you cleared up hardly any cap space, makes zero sense unless Tampa can flip that goalie but I don't see that happening.

Would have to be one heck of a deal for the blues to consider taking on Mark Streit for one year.

Like Shatty Streit only has one more year left at roughly 1 mill more, not a huge deal so if the trade was Streit, one of Morin/Sanheim and a 2nd is that the worst trade? They obvioulsy couldn't get their asking price for shatty at the draft or he wasnt willing to talk extension with the teams willing to pony up.
