Aj Greer signed to ELC! now with him being a college draftee... does that mean we can put him to San Antonio this year over the junior league? Which should mean we can differ a year of his ELC so we only start paying him next year?? |

The Avs did pretty well today. Nice complimentary pieces to their young core. Now if Roy can adjust better as a coach they might actually go somewhere this season which should make the Wild very nervous. |

I've heard that there is a rumor that wpg is linked to Landy and barrie with truba and wheeler returning.... this is from a friend in wpg... I don't believe it will happen... avs have said barrie is going to be in camp and I don't see wpg letting wheeler go, he's too valuable to the Jets. Possibly there next capitan. But anything is possible |

I really like wheeler... but wpg would riot if he was traded... like burn the mts center to the ground riot... but him at dutchy or him and mack would be fun |

WPG has Ehlers at LW with Laine/Connor on the way. Why do they trade Wheeler in a deal where they get a LW? |

Landeskog is a lefty, he could probably slide over to the RW easily enough.
Or do so with one of the younger kids who aren't as established. Shrug.

If the Avalanche would have traded Duchene instead of O'Reilly they wouldn't be in this position. Snook was a leader and a guy you can build a team around. Landy has been a disappointment and duchene disappears in big games. |

Like many, I've really hoped for more from Landy, but he's a nasty bastard to play against. Considering our ongoing "troubles"/new rivalry, why the hell would we do a deal with Minny? Just trying to make sense of such a rumor... |

If you believe all the rumors, and there are certainly plenty of them going around right now, Barrie will be traded in the next few days. TBH, it wouldn't surprise me at all, the Avs wingers are looking pretty weak so I'm speculating it would be for a LW or RW.
I don't believe the Landeskog rumors for one bit though. A friend of mine at BSNDenver told me yesterday that there is nothing to Landeskog rumors and I trust him. Of course, now that I've said that, he will be dealt soon... |

Anyone who thinks that we should trade our 23 year old captain, who plays with a fairly friendly 5.5mil cap hit for the next five years, needs to enlighten me as to why. He is the real deal, puts up points, hits, stands up for his team. Landeskog is the young talent teams crave these days, true power forward in the making. It would be a shame to see him go before he even enters his prime years.
While I'm on my rant.. Let's not trade any of our young talent. This is a team that people should get excited about. |

With the d men added, what do you think the comboswill be? Who will be sitting on the bench... I have
Ej-bigras
Barrie- tyutin
Beauch-zads
Wiercioch-gelly
Siemens in ahl
I think as season goes tyutin could move down to third pairing or bench with Wiercioch coming in, with him taking his spot next year... thoughts? I do like the corbourne signing. Seems like a guy who can play second, third or fourth line with ease. I'm liking our depth. I feel like we are a better team/organization today than we were at the end of the season. |
