Undrafted 26-year-old center out of Florida, was with Pittsburgh, then with NYR last year.

Signed for $600K so yes, probably replaces the Cracknell idea.

Nice pick-up by the Canucks. Thankful that they didn't sign Lucic (and are out of the running as concerns Russell).

It's great that he's already demonstrated excellent chemistry with the Sedins, which makes this that much more of a good signing. It would have been better, of course, if the term was a little bit shorter, but that is what the market is dictating unfortunately. Let's hope that there are no future issues with some of the concussion history he's had (albeit, he has been quite durable and hasn't missed much time during his career, otherwise)

All in all, not a bad day for the Canucks - most importantly, Benning didn't lose his marbles like some of the other GMs out there

Nux got the Second best player on a solid deal. Finally Sedins have a legit first line winger to play with.

I feel like Vancouver should be one of the most desirable locations instead of one of the least.
If you're a wealthy person and can pretty much choose to live wherever you want, it's ldeal. Good climate too.
And unlike much of Canada, not to so hockey frenzied that u can't have somewhat of a reasonably normal social life



Also, Larsen is a brilliant skater. Pair him with Someone who can do the dirty work and stays at home, and he can be effective I bet.
That said, I thought bartkowski would be more effective for many of the same reasons

I think this will really revitalize the Sedins and we should see a great year(s) from them. I definitely think we got one of the best players available. 30 goal scorers (with a great two way game) are a very rare breed these days.

I was actually surprised that, other than the concussion, he's been relatively injury-free for most of his career. But yes, any time you are dealing with concussion issues, it's something to be concerned with. Hopefully he'll be able to stay healthy and continue to produce at the same level. It will be great to finally see someone of quality caliber playing with the Sedins. What a concept
