Habs Talk: Mea Culpa, by Andrew Saadalla
A letter of apology to general manager Marc Bergevin. - Habs Talk
Don't beat yourself up man, there are still a lot of question marks. Carr, Plekanec and Markov cheif among them followed by Radulov and Galchenyuk. That's a lot of uncertainty. |

Great blog. Habs much better in every way. - AGalchenyuk27
we say that every year. you never know how poop is gonna work. but at the very least, the team on the ice next year will be Bergevin's for the first time. for better or worse. and it will either work or it won't, and if it doesn't, we can move on from him and Therrien. one thing i do believe is that these moves mercifully shorten Therrien's leash. |

since fred became a leafs fan and waterboy a sabres fan, the general IQ of Habs fans in this thread skyrocketed. |

Yup. It feels like Bergevin has gone all in for the next 1-2 seasons. All hysteria aside, reserving judgement until it plays out. I'm sure he'll have no problem answering for it either way. |

Prefer Weber although a 2nd round pick would have been nice as well in the deal. |

Hey - mr.peanut
I'm disappointed that I just did a BL or a Symba reply about the mad cupa. But it was more along the lines of that guy saying habs had a 2 year cup window. I promise |

What an idiot !!! What are you going to say come December when the Habs are at the bottom of the standings and Bergy his Foxhole Buddy Sait Rien and their lover DD is no longer with them because of the utter destruction these 3 have been causing all the while Bergy being a LIAR and phony , I was ecstatic when he was hired , that tempered when he hired stupid as a coach and has now culminated with his trading a generational talent for a fading star who has lost a step ... You can like it I don't and I 've been a Hab fan longer than you've been alive , and anyone else who has been, will say exactly the same thing BERGY IS A FRAUD ... |

I've always hated the "cup window" talk, after the kings won in 2014 all we heard was how they had a cup window to be a dynasty. Since, they've missed the playoffs once and lost in 5 in the 1st round. Add to that they've lost Williams, Stoll, Richards, Voynov, Regher, Mitchell, Quick hasn't been standing on his head consistently, Brown remembered he is a 3rd liner, off-ice troubles, poor cap and player management forcing them to lose good players. |

In all honesty, how are the Habs better? Simply because they added Radulov? No troll, legit question. Is it simply because they added a guy who's capable of scoring 25 goals and 60 pts as opposed to not adding him? |

Weber is solid, tough and will improve PP. Shaw is a pain in the ass to play against and can score a bit. Montoya is a solid backup. Hopefully Radulov can score 25.
NO PK giveaways ans stupid penalties at the end of close games and a hated guy in the locker room. |

I don't know if they will be better, what the chemistry will be like, how the new guys will adapt to the team's system. Can't be much worse than last year.
Radulov is a gamble, low risk, high reward, 1 yr term for a bit more money they I wished (it was July 1st, everyone gets overpaid). If he scores 25-30 and puts up 60-65 points and isn't a distraction to the rest of the team, it will be a fantastic signing. |
