Any poll which consists of 200 people or less is a farce, not to mention the way some of the questions were presented. The only way in which the poll would have any sort of relevance or validity, is if those questions were posed to the actual fanbase (and even then you are dealing with fair weather fans and people who barely know the sport, let alone having the ability to make an informed opinion) and not the hockey world in general. You are obviously working with bias as well as lack of information and ignorance. |

That doesn't align with the "tear it down" mentality that has been screamed from the rooftops for the past few seasons, so people have a tendency to believe that "there is no plan" when, in fact, there is a plan—it's just not the one that they were expecting or hoping for.
Very well put Carol!
I like what they are trying, and I hope the result is more like JB/WD's first season where (results aside) the hockey was exciting to watch! |

We can't do anything about our bad reputation other than win and prove the fools wrong.
No matter what we do won't change their mind so FLUCK them.
All I know is we didn't trade a top 10 forward for a Chis Tanev comparable. We also didn't trade our whole team in hopes of signing Stamkos.
Go out an win and let the Phuckers of the world say what they want. |

From an outsider looking in, me, I think Bennng is doing an excellent job of drafting and developing. How anyone can see it otherwise is baffling to me? Sure a lot of the kids he's taken aren't proven yet, but they look really promising!
As long as the Sedins are in Vancouver, the team will try to be competitive. |

It's the Hockey News . Not much more needs to be said. They have a fan base of 31. |

Prepare for the influx of white-knights rushing in to brown-nose Benning and Linden!!!
This management group deserves to be ranked last (or very close to it). |

In some areas yes, in others not so much. To say they're doing terrible at everything is ridiculous, Benning has drafted very well in two short years. |

What do you do in two years when their contract is up? Sign them at a much lower cap hit? How much are you willing to overpay them and for how long out of loyalty? |

I don't care what other fan bases think of the Canucks. Most hockey fans have their opinions printed for them by who ever they read, just make your own opinions without the influence of others, at least you can call them your own. |

He has also won half the trades and has inked some very decent contracts since the Sbisa and Dorsett signings.
When he came on as a Rookie GM he made his share of mistakes but has improved as he goes along |

the 2014 draft may go down as the Canucks best draft ever.
Virtanen
MaCann = Gudbranson
Demko
Tryamkin
a top six forward PF, two potential top 4 d-men and a goalie who looks like he has a chance to be a solid #1.... that's pretty spectacular if you ask me. |

I like the Gaudette highlight reel, he has some nice flair to his offensive game. |

I can't seem to quote Zogg, but he's bang on. 200 fans is not a representative sample of hockey fans in any type of analysis like this. You would never get away with that poop in actual scientific research. |

It really depends on where the franchise is at in terms of acquiring a top six center to replace Henrik. |

No one is overpaying anyone - when the time comes you know the Sedins will make the best choice not only for themselves but also for the team. If they do drastically decline (very unlikely) then I'm sure there is no way they would want to handcuff the team with any sort of anchor type contract. They have shown time and again that they are willing play for a discount and there is every reason to believe that will continue to be the case. You will note that they have said that themselves - that they would be signing short term contracts in the future and go from there.
Based on their intense training regimen and dedication to fitness, as well as the type of style they play the game (where it is more about hockey vision/smarts than any other aspect), they could easily play for four or five years and continue to be effective (even if it was in a reduced role). |

I don't think he's "won" any trades, but he didn't lose them all either. |
