JVR would definitely be in the top 10 and likely in the top 5.

Kane, Subban, Benn are all above JVR with Simmonds, Couture, Voracek arguably ranked above. 7th overall is safe though. Not bad considering the names on the board.

it was. habs killed it though drafting mcdonagh/subban/patches.

funny how they mishandled that.

Mcdonagh/Shattenkirk/Pacioretty/Muzzin/Caputi would all be the mix too.

But yeah this was a pretty decent draft.

Interesting as I have also liked leivo but I think wedgewood is going to be the better player (not that pieces wouldn't or couldn't be included on both sides or that either player will be stars).
