Good group of forwards that is really good if Kane plays some focused hockey. Next year or the year after should be better when Nylander has some more experience.

Nice write up Michael. The ROR trade was the best move that Murray has done as GM.

I wonder if Bylsma would take the "C" off of Gionta and stick in on ROR, or would that an ugly precedent?

I think its the total value of all the "lesser" moves he made:

turning scuderi into daley

Perron into Hagelin

Buying low on schultz and putting him in a position to succeed (or at least not embarrass himself)

not overpaying sutter and bringing in bonino

kane's problem has never been on-ice save for some injuries...he comes to play every game and leaves everything out on the ice...his major problem, as we all know, stems from his immaturity off the ice
