Murray touched on this Thursday on WGR. With Rochester being so close, they didn't feel it was urgent to call someone up just to sit around for the most part. He also said it's part of managing the cap.

Maybe they think that he's not going to play either way and let him play in Rochester. He'd be a scratch, correct?

If I recall it's only a 1 game trip and then back home against Ottawa. At that point it's a 60 minute commute if something were to happen in practice or something.

It's strange but I guess it works. Or they're just waiting to announce that Mike Weber is signing a 5 year 60M contract

There's only been 4 since then, though. So it looks deceiving. It's not like we're one of those teams that seems to have Monday nighters every single season, sometimes on mulitple occasions.

That was actually something I was thinking of last night. How many times this season has Denver been on Primetime (either Thursday, Sunday or Monday night)? I feel like they've had more primetime games than they've had normal Sunday afternoon games.
