Thanks Carol! Last night was definitely one of the low-lights of the past 12 months, it was a game that could be summarized in 20 seconds of clips |

from mynhltraderumors.com......
"Talk is the Colorado Avalanche would trade Gabriel Landeskog for a quality defenseman. Would a Landeskog for Travis Hamonic work? How about Landeskog for Cam Fowler?
Many people think that the Avalanche could move Matt Duchene for a young defenseman."

Since the players weren't generating any good chances, our old pal The Stanchion took it upon itself to set up Henrik Sedin for his sixth of the year

If Colorado is looking to trade Landeskog or Duchene, JB should be all over that. Tanev + for one of those guys would be worth it |

I'll agree.
But remember D man value is higher than forwards. Tanev may be enough. Perhaps given the age difference we move edler instead. |

Last night was a brilliantly coached and strategic deployment of Bo by WD. Matchup of Sedins with Kesler was superb. Moving on now. Time to face the Leafs. Oh yeah the players are to old and have no talent. |

edler is the player to trade, but they would want more than just him for the same reason: he doesn't have as may good years left. Edler and Hansen might get it done, we'd be retaining some salary. Also, there is a big difference between Duchene and Landeskog, as duchene>>>>Lankeskog |

One thing I noticed is players had no sense of urgency last night. As we all know, urgency, similar to playoff coaching, can't be taught so Benning should target players born with urgency next draft. |

Much as I dislike sportsnet sometimes/the title of this article, I agree with everything on here.

I feel like that article was written by a poster on the Leafs forum on Hockeybuzz - nucks_94
"Since winning Game 5 of the of 2011 final to get within a single victory of the Stanley Cup, the Canucks have a grand total of three playoff wins. Only two teams—Toronto was one—finished with fewer points than Vancouver last year and the club is tracking similar results with a rickety roster this season. The Canucks are life and death to get to two goals each night, which isn’t going to cut it when you give up an average of nearly three."
That's just accurate. Frankly, so is the rest of the article. Kind of a tough pill to swollow. One of the few Toronto/Vancouver articles that acknowledges that we were very good for a long time, but points out that we are living in the past (which we are). |

None of the players, like it or not, have played long enough to be considered core pieces yet. If Hutton was playing well, maybe. Tree and Stecher have looked good for ten-twenty games, but that's not the same as having proven young pieces like Kadri JVR and Rielly, and young pieces that are outscoring everyone on Vancouver. Bo really is the only core player, for sure foundational piece, that we have right now. |

This line up is vastly different from 2011. Looking to future with mentoring from those left of what was. Transitions take time and the in between often has bumps. |

How is julevie(sp) considered? But Demko and Boeser are not? Come on, it was a bit weak in knowledge. |

Yah I don't think it was Willy D matching the Sedins with Kesler, it was more-so the other way around. Kesler has ALWAYS been used against other teams top lines. Sedin got a lucky bounce from the stanchion, other than that, I don't think they had a good night. I also disagree with Bo's deployment. 7th 8th 9th for Bo, Burrows and Baertschi in ice time (respectively) is not good enough considering they have been your most offensive line as of late. |
