I have a few friends that know him from playing roller hockey with/against him. I don't know him personally, but always nice to see a local guy make it to the show even if it's just for a cup of coffee.

Also, it's funny how many NHL guys played competitive roller hockey, relative to the general level of interest in roller hockey in NA.

you hear a lot about roller hockey in so. cal...not so in other places...that said, 'burgy' had a pretty good camp and I thought he had a shot at being the No. 7 d-man on the sabres opening night roster based upon his play in preseason
