Fantastic analysis of both Ottawa and LA's positioning. This is the best blog I've read on this site and I've been reading for about ten years. |

Now this is what I've been looking for on this site.

Yea, for sure. Regardless, forgettable effort by the Kings. |

I agree. But that was some bullpoop. LA had a good effort in those last minutes. That was game changing. |

Can that play by Rask be challenged? Im still mind blown how the ref's just sat there so long talking to Julien about nothing. |

Forgot to check the thread but I wanted honest takes on a trade that could really benefit both teams :-- Bobby Ryan for Dustin Brown.
*Ryan is heating up though (relatively speaking) and I think he could have a very strong 2nd half so this is just fantasy. Brown has certainly been better this year |

His cap hit of 7.25 for the next 5 years isn't reasonable at all and would put the Kings in a bigger cap hole then they are now. |

No kidding. Not trying to say they lost the game because of that or anything, but that was absolutely ridiculous. |

The scoring we all know Ryan could bring would be chopped down in the defensive Sutter. Though Ryan and Kopi I think have a little history from previous lock out. Id honestly take the risk of such a trade. Mostly because I think the extra Ryan salary could be countered with moving someone like Clifford. (Yes I know Clifford isnt making the exact difference but its a start) |
