As far as the Washington game goes, I'll chalk it up as to one of those that just happens a few times a year. Kings were playing back to back day games. That didn't have their mind right or whatever. Maybe Sutter could do a better job of that then just always trying to win the corsi battle.

I was willing to chalk it up to the same, but it would appear that it wasn't just the back-to-back day games, since they just lost again by the same score at night, to the worst team in the Atlantic division, no less.
I have no idea what Sutter was thinking by pairing LaDue in his first NHL game with the risky Muzzin, who very often jumped up and left LaDue to defend by himself. What a dumb decision.
