Kiszla is the least respected writer in Denver, he is so over the top trying to be a Skip Bayless....the guy is terrible.

The underlying message isnt far off, that Sakic shouldnt be trusted to make a franchise changing trading, if they do it, it should be on a New Mgmt regimes watch.

I only posted it because I figured there was more to the story than just what this guy wrote. I assume he is the DP's Larry Brooks.

Putting aside the obviously-valid criticisms of Sakic for a moment he seems to, at least so far, be exercising the patience with those two and not trading them off for a garbage return. So it's kinda promising? I think? Maybe.

Hes worse than Brooks, Haggartys etc bc they actually go to games and are around them. Kiz just comes up with his think pieces with the stuff he gets from the other DP staff members in Chambers. The guy is complete clueless.

The amount of times they whine about Avs not drafting Colorado Kids is tiresome. He wrote a whole piece about how the Avs are terrible at drafting for not taking Slavin in the 4th round. Banana land.

Friedman had a good little rant up about the Avs today, he was saying how this goes deeper, and its before the Roy and Sakic Era, the Avs org is fundamentally flawed. If he would realize its a Kroenke asset, of course its flawed. Its turning him a profit regardless of the one ice results, so probably will continue to be this way for a long time
