Oilers drafting has much improved, tho I don't expect you to acknowledge that, as you would have to give credit to MacT...and we know that will never happen.

I feel like I'm missing something but how exactly has MacT impacted the team's drafting. Slepyshev is the only non-top ten pick on track to be much of anything. |

I feel like I'm missing something but how exactly has MacT impacted the team's drafting. Slepyshev is the only non-lottery pick guy on track to be much of anything.

Patience....the oldest any of these guys are now is 21. I would say the 2015 draft is still mostly Mac T's as well. |

I can't imagine it'd be anyone but Bob Green that should get credit in that case as I doubt the any new GM keeps the same draft list as the last guy. Chiarelli was employed that whole year so I'm sure he had his own list that he was interested in. |

Yeah you're probably right. The Stu years weren't very good, but my God were the Kevin Pedorass years awful.

Thinking back, you can clearly see how few (frank)s the Oilers' scouting staff gave about skating. Gagner, Nash, Plante, Eberle, Omark, Peckham and Lander all had skating issues when drafted. That's over half of their draft picks and most of their early picks from 2006-2009. |
