Look at that roster, wow...
Guessing this is what the infamous 'stealth tank' looks like?
On a positive note, here's to hoping Goldy's play-making skills can complement Sutter's shot and net presence. |

Thanks Carol. Why couldn't anyone have fed Megna Oysters instead of Granlund and Goldy? Rather have had them play all that time instead of WD's chia pet.
Don't get the comments NOW on line up. It actually looks better then the one that beat the Hawks |

Roller coaster of emotions I see. Don't worry this lineup will help in the long run. - SRam19
It's true.
I respect the idea of not pulling too many from Utica, but that lineup is |

I understand its purpose for the long term, I just didnt expect to see such a sad excuse of an NHL lineup be dressed by the Canucks. It happening only 5ish years after a SCF run makes it even more strange. Its necessary, but that doesnt make it any less painful to see |

We could almost ice a lineup with our injured players.
Rodin/Granlund/Erikson
Gudbranson/Biega*
Markstrom
Extra: Dorsett, Megna, Cramarossa,
plus the loss of Burrows for a prospect...and also the need to shut down Sutter, Tanev and probably Edler (b/c when is he not injured).
10 games to go.
Then it's the summer of the long knives. |

Right. Plus who knew that Megna would be so missed. Finally after all this time being out of the line up would elicit these negative comments. They want the same line up that beat the Hawks?!?
Guess there is no hope for Goldy love now. |

Consolidated draft rankings:
https://canucksarmy.com/2...ted-draft-rankings-march/
1. Patrick.
2. Hisch
3. Vilardi.
4. Liljegrin.
5. Mittelstadt.
Of interest to some here, they got Necas at 8, Makar at 9 and Foote at 18.
Anyone have a read on Vilardi, as frankly, I don't get his high ranking.
His stats for a top 3 pick coming out of the OHL don't seem to warrant the position while his highlights are even more alarming.
His skating looks below average and most of his goals appear to come from banging the puck into the net from the crease...

Vilardi has had a consistent season & his Spitfires r hosting the Memorial Cup.
Has an all around game but skating is a knock somewhat.
I have it as....
Patrick
Hischier
Mittelstadt
Necas
Vilardi
Makar
Tippett
Liljgren

I was going through the injury reports on Nolan Patrick. Is the groin injury reoccurring? It looks like the shoulder was. I think the groin was injured, didn't recover like they wanted and he went for surgery. One injury. |
