The Canes continue to make a push for the final playoff spot as they beat the Canadiens 4-1 last night. Given the Canes were one of the bottom five teams in the NHL standings at the beginning of March, it is quite shocking the Canes are only five points behind the Bruins with two games in hand. |

That is certainly true. I watched second half of Tor-NJD last night and was surprised how many guys they've called up offensively. |

As a future caniac (retirement), I watch and root for this club, however I am hopeful you will fall short of the Isles as they will ALWAYS be my first club. The canes need a productive off season to go to the next level, they need to spend, my fear is that they won't, and that damn relocation thing gains traction. So here is to a meaningful last meeting in a couple of weeks, may we both need the points at that late stage. |
