So when is the lottery held , isn't like a week or so prior to the Draft. This season can't end soon enough for the AVS! Hoping the Avs take 2 pieces for Duchene and cut ties. 1st round pick and a top type of prospect.

Duchene for Faulk makes too much sense so I wouldn't count on it happening.

Trouba can join Hamonic, Bogosian, and Rielly aboard the woulda...coulda...shoulda...didn't....train.

Not sure if Anaheim parts with him now, but Dutch for Fowler makes sense too. Can you imagine a first line of Dutch - Getzlaf - Perry? Just the compliment that the Ducks have been missing since Bobby Ryan decided/wanted to attempt to become a franchise player elsewhere.

Faulk would be a dream, Him, Johnson, Zadorov and barrie (if they dont move him in a separate deal) I could be very happy with that D Core going into next season.

Fowler would just solidly the Top 4 with 2 Rights and 2 Lefties. I just dont know what the Ducks cap space is like next year to take on 6m in Duchene.

Any dmen of those caliber, I would be doing cart wheels

As a Canes fan I would tell you that I would trade Faulk before I traded Slavin. Slavin is still growing on his offensive side and his defensive awareness is better than Faulk's. I know plus/minus is a bad stat but +22 on a mediocre team is hard to ignore. Defensively Faulk gets caught out of position a lot and is subject to the frequent breakaway.

I am very worried about patrick though. Wheat Kings were eliminated last night and apparently he didnt play in the series at all, he was injured. That makes me super nervous that this guy might have some injury issues.

I sort of want to lose the lottery but at least pick 2 or 3. I am really liking Tippett the more I read about him. World class explosive speed and just a wicked release of a shot.

They compare his skill sets to Kessell, but you know not husky
