Basically you are just drafting your whole team you get to pick any player from the teams that are in the playoffs when it's your pick

It's like a regular NHL draft but you're picking your own team

And it's based on stats ( Power Play Goals, power play assist, game winning goals, regular goals, regular assist) those are each one point each If your player gets it during the game

The goalie points are based on wins 3 points ( so you have to pick a goalie that you think is going to win a lot)

So the goal is to get players that are going to get points ..


F-You draft five forwards
D- You draft 2 defenseman
D/F-You draft 2 defenseman or forward
G-Two goalies you draft
D/F -2 Flex option
D/F- 1 bench

- pick your players wisely because if those players get eliminated in the first round you lose those players

Well at least your only expecting him to crack the line up. Garf figures hes already an NHL top 4 D...which is fine, if all you expect is another season of growth and no playoffs.

Guhle will be our next Hannu Virta

No doubt he's gonna be good....he's probably gonna be a key piece when the Sabres make the playoffs again.....but expecting him to be that key piece that gets the results in his rookie season , an immediate answer, is just foolish.

WHich is how smart fans should approach the impact of rookies. Theres 2 or 3 rookies a year that make that kind of impact....once ever couple of years is there a D man that does it.

No doubt he's gonna be good....he's probably gonna be a key piece when the Sabres make the playoffs again.....but expecting him to be that key piece that gets the results in his rookie season , an immediate answer, is just foolish.

We need more Guhle's and less Gorges and Bogos. The kid looks like he has some nice wheels.

Nice to see Malone sign with the Sabres. He finished strong at Harvard. More organizational depth. Still waiting for Petersen to sign on the dotted line though....

He can make an impact in a smaller bubble, by being a piece that helps to solidify the the Sabres' D, not an impact within the league so much. If he upgrades the Sabres 5-6 D for the first part of the year and maybe moves into a top 4 later on, then it will be an improvement over who they have now.
