true, however I really believe they don't need a superstar generational talent to turn things around. They have a lot of nice pieces already in place. This isn't a start over from scratch situation.

You add any of the Top 5 guys with MacKinnon, Jost, Rantanen and Landeskog (I really don't think hes traded)....that Top 6 looks good long term.

They need to figure out the D situation and if they can get that piece from the Duchene trade, I like their odds to being competitive in 2 seasons. Next year they will still be bad but not Dumpster fire bad like this year
