Game 3 option becomes a little simpler for the Sens. Never mind this 11 goal game. Go back to the classic, low scoring, one goal road game. If they take the Rangers into the third period with a one goal lead, I think they hold.

Maybe Phaneuf played his best game in a Senator's uniform.

Well deserved being named second star.

So... that was absolutely amazing. Pageau doing it again.

But they need to be a lot better in game 3. Like, A lot. That powerplay was a train-wreck. Despite his goal, I thought Stone was off his game all night.

So use the emotion from this big comeback to regroup and tigthen up for a solid road game on tuesday.

So far so good though.

Oh and Andy, please stop playing hte puck.

They need to get one of those doggy shock collars for him that will zap him every time he leaves the crease.

Surprised how cool Boucher has been on the bench. Yesterday was pretty wild and I thought he kept the bench pretty level. The high stick on Hoffman was flagrant. It should have been for four minutes. The bench stayed cool. So often teams get themselves inflamed over bad calls and they lose focus and give up an easy goal.

It was really impressive how Ottawa kept their head in the game.

Harpur is a very good player and will be a regular next year. Chabot will certainly play with the Sens next year and Englund is very good. Add White into the line up and this is going to be a very good team next year.

But, no worries about that at this time of year as the playoffs have been superb.

I fully expect white and Chabot to be in Belleville next year. There is absolutely no need to rush them into the NHL.

Congrats to Ottawa. That was the most entertaining game I have watched in recent memory.

I liked Boucher when he was in Tampa, and I think it's BS he didn't get an Adams nod.

Good luck!

I fully support this. No need to rush them, especially when we have depth already.

This is the biggest difference to the team this year. Not many tire fires all year. Keeping their poise in the playoffs. .

Dorion should get the best gm award

Absolutely true. I have no idea how the ref came up with "it was a follow-through, so no penalty"!!
Just as much as AV coached them from a 2 goal lead to an OT loss, that should have spelled the end.
Not that I'm saying Ottawa doesn't deserve credit for coming back, but AV's ridiculous decisions with his personnel presented the Sens with the opportunities they took advantage of in the 3rd.
If I weren't STILL in utter disbelief, I would probably admit that was an exciting game.
