I think it's hard to pick because all 4 of the Preds top D-men bring something different to the table. Ellis has a cannon from the point, and is underrated for his pure defensive skills. Josi is a great passer and puck mover, especially on breakouts and through the neutral zone. Eckholm is grittier than the others, and also can create some offensive zone disruption when he pinches down into the play. And Subban has the most pure offensive skill, while also possessing solid defensive skills. All four of them do a great job at holding pucks in the offensive zone, which helps drive the Predators solid possession numbers.

If I had to pick just one, I'd say give me Subban. But any of the other three would be a top pair D-man on just about any team in the NHL.

Webber! ...oh right sorry couldn't resist, it's amazing how a team that had Suter, Jones ,webber ,and to a much lesser extent hamhuis, kline, Franson, not stars but serviceable! The top three could of been death blows for a GM to trade/lose and then have the best defense (imo) in the league! David poile and his scouting department are pretty franking impressive

none of them, after giving up 9 goals in 2 games against PITT.

I dunno but its a pretty fantastic set of d-men. Will keep Nashville competitive for many years.
