That's a solid lineup right there - probably already 20 to 25th in the league - barring injuries - |

so you draft multiple goalies who would have to pass through waivers?
That makes no sense at all
Subban, Pickard, Binnington, Grubauer....all need waivers to go down to AHL since you can carry 6 goalies on a roster.
This isn't the most well thought out roster, you did the same with the Dmen and the Fwds. |

Tom Kuhnhackl - Penguins
Ummm... Hornquist or Hagelin very likely to be exposed... both better forwards. But if that is what we lose I am all for it. |

I guess this is just for fun. Assuming no trades are made. But...
Ducks are either trading a dman or protecting 4. Juice will waive his NTC. Vegas won't take him.
If there is no Vatanen/Lindholm/Fowler trade they will need to make a deal to save Silfverberg.
But Josh Manson will never be left unprotected.

wait....in an effort to protect Niklas Hjalmarsson?
He has a NMC and is already protected, that doesnt even make sense. |

The roster for opening day doesn't have to be (and most likely won't be) the same as what they choose for expansion |

After looking at the full roster, I stand by my assessment.
I only trust Expansion Rosters from Tanner |

i have to assume that roster is picked on the anticipation of making more trades.
1. The goalies would stand out as trade bait.
2. Judging by the Kuhnackl pick I assume that is with the Pens sending them a pick. One or more of Hornquist, Hagelin, Maata, Dumolin and Fleury will be available. All way better options.

Fleury has a no movement clause and will be bought out prior to the expansion draft or the Pens will lose Murray |

Or, they could trade MAF to Vegas with a condition similar to what Chicago is doing with TvR/Kruger (assuming MAF waives). |

Seems pretty dumb for vegas to take Joakim Nordstrom over Lee Stempniak but hey, if that's what they wanna do, I'm okay with it. |

I don't think MAF does them any favors after what the Pens have put him through think he has a chip on his shoulder |

It's not a favor. If the Pens buy him out, he's getting 1/3 of his annual salary for twice length of his contract. I doubt the money he'll make in free agency will cover 2/3 of his current contract for the duration. If he's only looking out for himself, getting traded is better than being bought out. |

I think he could find a team willing to sign him to a 2 year 8 million dollar contract 4 million a year wouldn't be a bad contract bishop just got 5 million a year, I could see a team like the Flames signing him |
