How can this idiot continue to think its fine to sit on his hands after a 48 point season and make no changes to the roster. I don't see how you can't make something work with Carolina Hanafin and that 12th pick. If you think Duchene mailed it in the last half of the season last year just wait to see how badly he's pouting next year. You can't constantly float a guys name in the rumour mill for two years and expect him to shut it out and play whether he may be more mentally soft than others or not. Nobody wants to accept it but its obviously time to lower the asking price. Not moving him before the end of the off season to me is a massive failure and a fireable offence.

I'm not here to troll, but how can Duchene still be with colorado??? Sakic. Reds to end this poop show. So many big deals happening around him and he's still doing nothing. Maybe tomorrow is the big announcement. The Duchene debacle has to end soon.

Sakic has already gotten the best offers he will get for Duchene and he seems to be missing a big issue. Right now Duchene has 2 years left so that plays into a higher offer knowing there is security in giving up assets. What does Sakic expect to be offered next year when Duchene is a year away from being a ufa?

If Hamonic, Dal Colle, 2018 1st pick is a legit offer, then Sakic needs to bite. Considering Sakic has been publicly shopping Matt since at least last November and how his play has been clearly affected by it, how does it make sense to bring this guy back into the locker room?

I have no ulterior motive to rip the Avs off (the oilers keep letting us do that lol), but you can't treat your employees like this and expect their best effort.

Im fine with Eberle, gonna thrive with JT, wanted to add Duschene for 2nd line C. But I won't blame Snow for not giving up Barzal, or Pulock, or Ho Sang etc. This seems to be a year of GMs looking for the moon (2 1sts for Hamonic), so we will see, I just think that Colorado has truly handled this poorly and may have a real problem on their hands moving forward.

Decent draft, lots of interesting and high skilled picks. Could be a home run or a huge crash and burn....no real safe picks, but cool to see so many NCAA picks.

The duchene thing sucks, but I don't fault the Avs for not moving him if they aren't getting good offers. If teams are scoffing at the price of a 1st rounder and a Young D...still hold out.

Schenn was moved for 2 1st rounders and a cap dump
Stepan was moved for a Top 10 pick and a young DMan

If Sakic isn't getting a 1st rounder with his young D asset they are targeting, well in the past 48 hours, arguably less complete Centers of the same age and cap hits are netting them. So why wouldnt he still wait. Sucks for Duchene and the Fans to wait to move on but patience is still needed here

On draft: Makar, Timmins and Henry all solid picks. Makar could be a one and done ncaa player, wjc dman for Canada. Timmins (love this kid) and Henry are great depth pick ups. Probably 2 years away but tones of potential there.

On away jerseys: SEXY!!!

On Duchene: as a fan of his, I'm disappointed the saga continues. I want it to be over soon can cheer for him from afar. But from a business point of view, if we're not getting a top 4 dman back, he's not moving. No future's deal will cut it. BUT getting 2018 1st is a blessing in disguise if we get at least one in a trade. But for now teams still think they can get him for maybes and good for sakic on not moving him for maybes.
