Glad Gartieg got extended . He was a solid backup in Utica last year. He adds insurance incase a Canuck goalie or Utica goalie gets injured he can go help the Comets with little drop off.

Also if a goalie gets traded at TDL he can step into the Comets with minor adjustment

Why bring in Gagner and MDZ then ? This is year three of bottoming out .You just can't wait year after year before trying to improve.You drop two old pieces after this year and replace it with one ( it does not have to be Kane)

To make the product slightly more entertaining for the fanbase. I don't necessarily think you'll see vast improvement in the standings, however, the games might be more entertaining with more offence.
